How to complete all side quests, where to get them, what rewards you can earn
In this Forspoken fantasy action guide, we'll show you how to complete each of the 21 side quests (that's what side quests are called in this game). It is noteworthy that most of the side missions can be lost once and for all (if you do not complete the task in a timely manner). Thus, postponing side tasks on the back burner, at the end of the game, will not work. When moving to the next stage of history, many quests become simply inaccessible.
All side missions start in the main town called Tsipal, where you return between chapters. You first enter Cipal in the third chapter, and there will be no side quests until then. I would also like to emphasize that clearing the Forbidden Labyrinths also applies to side tasks, but we will not consider them (everything is simple there - I went in, went through several rooms, killed everyone, took the reward, and left).
Since most of the side missions can be skipped, I highly recommend doing them as they appear, and be sure to switch between manual save slots. Thanks to this, if you miss one of the missions, you can load from the save game closest to it. Check the map after each action, especially before leaving Tsipal. And do not forget that some side tasks can only appear after a certain conversation in the city (story or during an optional event).
Of particular interest are 9 incidental tasks related to chasing cats. With their help, you can get 9 dolls, and then exchange them with a merchant that appears in the seventh chapter for resources and cloaks. Don't worry - even if you don't chase the cat in a particular chapter, it will reappear in Cipal at the end of the storyline. That is, cats cannot be missed! However, if you are chasing achievements, all the associated tasks are important to you, and the rest, in addition to the chase, can be lost forever. The only extra precaution you should take is to get 2 pieces of equipment that can be missed in Chapters 7 and 10.
In addition, by completing side quests, you will receive new records for the archive, which will help you get an achievement that requires you to collect 80% of all records from the game. I strongly recommend that you complete all the events that appear in the city after each chapter. Check the map for side missions and events before leaving Tsipal.
Events are not some kind of tasks, but ordinary short conversations, which, however, provide archival records.

Excursion
- When to do it: Chapter 4.
- Reward for completing the task: archive entry, 50 experience points.
Near the tavern, you will meet a new character named Pilo. Talk to him to start the first side mission of the chapter, the events of which reflect its title. Just follow Pilo and chat at different points. Talk to three people in the square. As soon as you get to the farm and the cemetery, the second side task related to feeding the sheep will automatically begin (it is even called "Feeding the Sheep" as such). Just use the analysis from the bracelet to find three sheep to feed. Once you've done that (and gained experience points), continue following Pilo to the Upper Town. After the cutscene where Frey argues with Pilo, return to the square in the Lower City to complete the quest.

Treasure of Robian
- When to do it: Chapter 4.
- Reward for completing the task: 3 archival notes, 50 experience points.
Before you leave town, go back to Ouden's room and talk to Robian. He seems to have lost something very valuable and you must find it. The first stop is Arxis Grove, where you found Robian earlier. Go back there, inspect some items (highlight with the Analysis from the bracelet) and talk to the guard behind the tree to find out that Robian came from the Upper City. Travel to the Upper City - to the area marked by the quest marker. Talk to three people. The woman at the bottom of the stairs will give you an animal bone, but that's not what Robian is looking for.
Follow to the Lower City, to the place marked on the map. As you approach, you will hear the voice of a boy standing against the wall. You may even have to look around before you can find it. He will give the book that Robian is looking for. With the book in hand, return to Ouden's room and speak with Robian to complete the task.
New Horizons
- When to do it: Chapter 4.
Before you leave Cipal in Chapter 4, talk to the kids at the city gates to start the New Horizons side quest. It has to do with visiting and photographing sights all over Athia, which later need to be shown to the children. For this, you will receive new frames and filters for the Forspoken photo mode. The accompanying task consists of four stages. There are a total of 50 photos to be found, but children will give a reward for reaching certain barriers: 5, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 photos respectively. You can bring all at once or separately.
Chasing a gray cat part 2
- When to do it: Chapter 4.
- Reward for completing the task: doll, 50 experience points.
The task will become available in the fourth chapter after the completion of the first part of the side task of the same name. Run after the cat until it stops next to the bag. Select its content.
Dancing in Tsipal
- When to do it: Chapter 6.
- Reward for completing the task: archive recording, 50 experience points.
Speak to Pilo in Cipal's Tavern during the celebration in Chapter 6 to start this side quest. Agree to dance and click on the buttons that are displayed on the screen. If you don't press the button, you can start over. Repeat as many times as needed to win. The sequence of buttons is always the same, so you can remember it.
Sayla's Oath
- When you can perform: the seventh chapter.
- Reward for completing the task: necklace (missable equipment), archive record, 100 experience points.
Head to the archive and talk to Joedy to start the side mission. She will examine the ore you found in the previous chapter outside of Praenost Castle and say that she can make something with it if you return her tools. Fast travel to Middle Preinost, the nearest waypoint from your destination. For example, you can use the shelter in the West if you opened it when you went after Syla. Once you are in Preinosta, head towards the marker that points to the village of Pronoia. Once there, enter the workshop and collect the blacksmith set. Gather the other Lore Fragments scattered throughout the village to learn more about Joedie and her relationship with Tanta Sayla. Before you can take the parts from the building, you will have to kill five Traitor Knights. This is a very intense battle. Try to destroy the knights sequentially. Use the buildings to your advantage to draw out one of the opponents and fight against him one on one. Don't try to counter several at once, as you will crash in close combat. Once the battle is over, return to Cipal and follow to the archives. Talk to Joedy to give her the tools. In return, she will give Nemeni Prisacha's necklace.
Help for the victims
- When you can perform: the seventh chapter.
- Reward for completing the task: archive recording, 100 experience points.
When you leave the archives after the previous side quest, you will hear the man talking about Ouden and how hard she works while looking after the sick. Go to the council room and talk to the girl. This will start a side mission that involves completing simple tasks for Ouden. To start, take care of the three sick people in the atrium of the meeting room - just talk to them to complete the mission. You will be offered several answers to choose from, but it does not matter - say what you like best. After taking care of the sick, go get food. Follow the marker from the council chamber to the quartermaster distributing food. After communication, go to a new place to the person distributing rations and talk to him. The rest of this job is done automatically,
Minke whale chase part 1
- When you can perform: the seventh chapter.
- Reward for completing the task: doll, 50 experience points.
This side objective will only be available after you complete the main objective "Find Robian", located in a grove in the western part of Cipal. Complete the objective before leaving Cipal (or wait for the game to end when the cat reappears). Run after the cat until it stops next to the bag. Select its contents.
Minke whale chase part 2
- When you can perform: the seventh chapter.

The task will become available in the fourth chapter after the completion of the first part of the side task of the same name. Run after the cat until it stops next to the bag. Select its content.
Chapter 10
- Equipment: necklace (skipable equipment).
This is not a side quest, but an important additional event. In Chapter 10, after the story sends Frey to Cipal's archives, talk to Joedi inside (during the "Head to Juno" quest before leaving town). It will be marked on the map with an event icon (question mark). According to the description of the achievements, the battles from the events are not needed, but just in case, take this necklace too!
Chapter 13 (post-story)
After the story, you will be able to create a separate save. Do this, then, after returning to the main screen, click on the first line "Continue" to start chapter 13, which is an epilogue and an opportunity to collect everything that was missed in the course of the story. In addition, there will be new side tasks. If you missed any of the Cat Chase quests, the animals will reappear.
Blackie Chasing Part 1
Starts at the entrance to the Upper City, the chase is available only after completing the story (chapter 13). After completing the twelfth chapter, make a save and click on the first line "Continue" on the title screen to return to the game. Run after the cat until it stops next to the bag. Select its content.
- Reward for completing the task: doll, 50 experience points.
Blackie Chasing Part 2
- Reward for completing the task: doll, 50 experience points.
Tsipal's revival
- The first is a man who needs cat food. This is a very simple quest - another person with cat food is right here in Tsipal. Just find it, get the cat food and automatically deliver it to the man.
- The second person is a woman who needs different flowers that grow only outside Tsipal, or rather, on the Sacred Peaks. In order to get to the Sacred Peaks faster, if you haven't been there yet, a new gate will open in the north of Tsipal. Go there, kill the enemies, and collect all the flowers, highlighting them with the analysis from the bracelet.
- The third character is a boy who wants a bench. To fulfill his request, you need to go to the village of Minera, located in Preinost. It's not a long journey - just go there, kill the enemies, and check out a couple of benches. Keep in mind that you will return to Tsipal automatically, so activate the shelter in advance.
