Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, best one-shot loadout for Victus XMR

Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has entered Season 2, and despite some complaints that it's broken in so many ways, there's no question that it's been a great addition and that's the buffs for the sniper rifles.

Until now, getting a one-shot kill with a sniper rifle against someone with three armor plates was basically impossible but, using a certain loadout with a few key tweaks, you can put up a one-shot sniper rifle that will devastate the helmets of your opponents on the battlefield.

For everything you need to know to assemble a one-shot sniper rifle in Call of Duty Warzone 2.0, keep reading our guide below.

BEST ONE-SHOT LOADOUT FOR VICTUS XMR

The Victus XMR is one of the weapons introduced in the latest battle pass, and if you've played enough to unlock it, you should know that right now it's one of the best weapons you can use in Warzone 2.0. Assemble a weapon with the accessories below and you can knock out enemies in a single shot from medium range.

  • Barrel: Mack 8 33.5 Super
  • Lasers: VLK LZR 7MW
  • Sprint: Bruen Counter-Ops
  • Handle: Bruen Q900
  • Ammunition: .50 Cal explosive

This weapon's attachments focus on increasing projectile speed and damage range as much as possible to compensate for the explosive ammo. Explosive ammo cuts the distance you can cover with your weapon, but the mid-range results speak for themselves. At longer ranges, you can still expect a two-hit kill scenario.

BEST ONE-SHOT LOADOUT FOR MCPR-300

The MCPR-300 has been a solid sniper rifle since the release of Warzone 2.0 and remains powerful to this day. If you failed to unlock the Victus XMR last season, this should be the rifle you should use, along with these accessories:

  • Barrel: 22” OMX-456
  • Muzzle: Nilsound 90
  • Charger: Cronen Lion
  • Football: Cronen Smooth
  • Ammunition: .300 Incendiary Mag

Again, these add-ons focus on overall damage range and projectile velocity because, again, the ammo type chosen here nerfs both overall. But it's worth it because the extra damage from incendiary ammo over time should completely eliminate most enemies with a solid mid-range headshot. The Cronen Smooth will also boost reload speed tremendously, so you can keep shooting if the first shot isn't enough.

EXPLOSIVE VS. INCENDIARY AMMUNITION WARZONE 2.0

Explosive and incendiary ammo types are essential for landing a one-shot kill with a sniper rifle in Warzone 2.0. These sniper rifles are the most effective when it comes to that, and of the two only the Victus XMR can use the explosive ammo type.

But these types of ammo also have cons. The damage range and speed of projectiles decrease in both cases and remove the ability to penetrate surfaces. Despite this, however, they still do one-hit kills in the battle royale for Season 2, so they are worth using in the right loadout. The worst-case scenario is that your enemies will be a bit out of your reach, but two hits will do it anyway.
