How to get new characters in Honkai: Star Rail
There are currently 25 characters in the game. Many of them you can open in the course of passing various tasks in the game. In addition, you can get new heroes using standard and temporary banners. You will need a special resource called Star Jade to unlock it. This is a premium currency similar to the Source Stones from Genshin Impact.
We recommend spending jade only on those heroes that are found in temporary banners. It is there that you can meet especially valuable five-star characters that cannot be obtained in any other way.
What elements of characters exist in Honkai: Star Rail
Like in Genshin Impact, all heroes in Honkai: Star Rail are divided by the elements with which they deal damage to enemies. There are seven in total:
- Electricity.
- Fire.
- Wind.
- Ice.
- Physics.
- Quantum.
- Imagination.
What is the "path" of heroes?
Another important indicator is "Path", which determines the role of the characters on the battlefield. There are also seven of them:
- Destruction. It includes the most powerful heroes in the game, analogues of the main attacking characters from Genshin Impact. They hit opponents with powerful attacks and are able to withstand more incoming damage than representatives of other Paths;
- Harmony. The main task of these heroes is to increase the damage from allied attacks;
- Abundance. Path whose representatives treat teammates;
- Non-existence. Such characters weaken enemies, such as reducing the power of their attacks;
- Erudition. Heroes in this path deal area damage. With a competent approach, this skill can turn the outcome of the battle;
- Preservation. The abilities of such characters increase the protection of allies;
- Hunting. Heroes that can deal massive damage to a single target.
Bailu
