CoD Warzone 2: Voice chat doesn't work - here's how to fix it

In Call of Duty: Warzone 2, voice chat is an important element for communication between soldiers. However, if it gives up the ghost, a fix must be found quickly. We'll show you how you can solve the problem.

Voice chat not working - Here's how to fix it: First of all, you have to determine whether your headset or microphone is connected at all. If you have made sure of this and you are still not heard or cannot hear, the error lies in the settings.

To fix the error, proceed as follows:

  • Opens the settings
  • Now go to the “Audio” tab
    • Now scroll down until you get to the “Voice Chat” section
  • Enable voice chat now if you haven't already

There are additional options under the voice chat settings that you should consider if your audio input and output is still not working.

These primarily include:

  • Voice chat playback device
  • microphone
The system in Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 will automatically select a connected device. However, it is possible that no active device is activated despite the automated system. Go to the settings we mentioned above and select your devices manually. So you can be sure that your headset and microphone are selected.

Proximity chat not working: Proximity chat is an issue in itself. You can also find the setting in the voice chat settings and it can be activated and deactivated there. The problem, however, is that the system appears to be working well for mostly American players. In our tests, this worked poorly or not at all, even though the setting behind it was activated.
