Remnant 2 is a hardcore RPG in the best traditions of the Dark Souls series . You can explore its gloomy world both alone and with friends. This guide focuses on the features of the co-op of the second part of Remnant.

The co-op mode can make it a lot easier, especially if you have experienced players in your company. Plus, you can level up your character faster and get better weapons.

The difficulty of the game session during the co-op is set depending on the power level of the strongest player. But at the same time, it can only be 3 levels higher than the owner of the current server. To avoid imbalance, try to pick up heroes of approximately the same power.

How to unlock co-op mode in Remnant 2

First you need to get trained. After that, three ways to start a cooperative passage will open:

• Invite a friend or join his game. In both cases, you need to specify "Friends Only" in the game session settings.
• Quick match with strangers. You need to go to the nearest checkpoint and select the "Join Game" option. It remains to decide on the mode ("Adventure" or "Campaign"). Previously, in the settings of the game session, you must designate "Sharing".
• Selecting a zone with the Peace Stone. Find the area on the map where you want to start a co-op. If among the available choices you do not like anything, go back to the selection menu. As in the previous case, you need to install "Sharing".

Keep in mind that if you have "Friends Only" and "Shared" enabled, then other players can join you. If you want to play Remnant 2 alone, check the "Offline" option.

Is there crossplay between different platforms in Remnant 2

Unfortunately, there is no crossplay in Remnant 2 in any form. Therefore, PC owners will only play with other PC users. The situation is similar for those who prefer PS5 or Xbox Series X/S. Whether crossplay will appear in the future is still unknown. Developers represented by Gunfire Games did not make any statements about this.
