THIS IS HOW YOU SOLVE YOUR WEIGHT PROBLEM IN STARFIELD ONCE AND FOR ALL

A console command and a mod: This solves your lack of space in Starfield and at the same time you can continue to work diligently on the achievements that Bethesda's sci-fi RPG offers.

Starfield is full of stuff, so really full. There is hardly a room where you can't find 20 items that are suitable for sale or as decoration. Some people fill their entire spaceship with rubbish because of this .

But there are solutions on the PC. With a small console command, your inventory problems will disappear into the vastness of space. That would actually deactivate your achievements, but who wants that so soon after the release? A mod helps.

You can find out how to activate both here on this site.

How do you increase carrying capacity? You can do this very quickly using Starfield's cheats/console commands. But be careful: this will deactivate the achievements for this save state. Below you will find a mod to reactivate the achievements.

  • Console command carrying capacity
    • Press “ö” to open the cheat console
    • Enter “player.setav carryweight 2000” into the console
    • Press “Enter”
    • Close the console again with “ö”

With the sample code, you set your payload to 2000. You can increase or decrease the number at your own discretion. You can find more commands in the spoiler box:

You can find more commands here:

  • tgm - god mode (life, oxygen, ammo)
  • tim—immortal
  • kah - Kills all nearby enemy NPCs
  • killall - Kills all nearby NPCs
  • unlock - Opens locked doors/chests
  • player.additem 0000000F x - Adds account x credits
  • tm - Disables / Enables all user interfaces
  • tfc – Free Camera

How do you reactivate the achievements? You can use a mod for that. But be warned: You have to exchange important files from Starfield for this, which is not entirely without risk. Follow the English instructions step by step and pay attention to details.

If you do something wrong, you may have to completely reinstall the game. In extreme cases even savegames can be lost.

In the comments, a player points out that the mod does not work retrospectively without restrictions. If you activated the cheat console a few hours ago, you may not get the achievements reactivated.

If you don't care about the achievements, just use the console commands without the mod.
