The famous Spartan Kratos and his son Atreus can reassert themselves after the epic events in God of War: Ragnarok. A major expansion for God of War: Ragnarok will be announced in the next two months.

PlayStation's gaming division is reportedly preparing to announce DLC in the next two months. The journalists claim that they received this information from a reliable source at Sony publishing house. It is not known how the God of War: Ragnarok expansion will be presented. This could be a teaser, a gameplay demo, or an announcement at a big event like The Game Awards. The last option is probably the most plausible.

Back in the summer, one of the insiders also reported that developers from the Santa Monica studio were working on an addition. The team was allegedly in the final stages and intended to release the DLC as early as 2024. Most likely, players will have Atreus's own adventure across different worlds, as hinted at in the original God of War: Ragnarok.
