While Summoner's Rift and Howling Abyss have been present since the beginning of the game, fans have been asking for a new mode for years. The developers have therefore concocted a new style of game, inspired by TFT, already very popular with streamers and YouTubers on the PBE.
On the test servers, many players have been able to test it and the opinion is clear: Arena 2v2v2v2 mode , planned to last a few months, is one of the best additions to League of Legends . But, then, when is it released on the live servers? We give you the answer in this article!
League of Legends 2v2v2v2 Arena mode release date and time
Arena mode has been back since November 9 on the PBE! We should therefore have it for December 6, 2023 on the League of Legends live servers . As a reminder, the 2v2v2v2 mode of League of Legends was an addition for the Spirit Fighters event from July 20 to August 28, 2023. It brought a new line of skins in addition to a new mode.
For those unfamiliar with Arena, it is a mode in which duos of players compete against each other. In the games, there are no runes or minions to farm, you can buy your items directly. In addition, you benefit from a maximum of 4 bonuses (Augments) which can range from the infernal soul, the electrocution rune or even the movement speed depending on your Skill Acceleration. In short, anything is possible in the brand new 2v2v2v2 mode in League of Legends.
At the moment, Arena is a limited-time mode. However, Riot Games clarified that if the reception was strong enough, it would consider the option of leaving it longer, or even permanently. If you like the mode, you know what to do!
