Attack on Titan shows its first look at its new art book

Shingeki no Kyojin has become one of the most important and beloved works of the last decade, even reaching people who do not usually read manga or watch anime. The story created by Hajime Isayama has penetrated the minds and hearts of millions of people, who said goodbye to the anime a few days ago, after the broadcast of the final special chapter.

However, although Shingeki no Kyojin has ended in the anime, there is still printed content that will arrive in a few months, specifically in 2024. An art book with unpublished content was announced some time ago, titled “Shingeki no Kyojin: FLY”. And now, through X, a glimpse of what this comic looks like has been shared. Below, we will tell you all the details.

What the art book for “Shingeki no Kyojin: FLY” looks like has been revealed

After a decade on air, the Shingeki no Kyojin anime has ended. MAPPA has given it a grand farewell, producing an impressive special episode that addressed the climax of the events of the rumble and the fate of all the protagonists.

This final episode has been impressive in every way. So much so that it has become the favorite of millions of people since MAPPA managed to capture the emotions of the original work in this format. Definitely, a worthy farewell for an anime that has transcended, reaching people who do not usually watch this animated content.

However, everything seems to indicate that the franchise is not dead yet, since some time ago it was announced that a special art book with unpublished content was being prepared. Evidently, Hajime Isayama himself was in charge of this project, which would be published in April 2024.

Recently, through the social network All this is accompanied by a publication date, which indicates that it will be April 30, 2024.

“Shingeki no Kyojin: FLY” will be an art book that will tell a completely original story that is far from what is seen in the manga/anime. This new plot has been created by Hajime Isayama himself, so it can be intuited that the work will be of quality and that it will allow fans to once again immerse themselves in this world of Titans that devour humans.

This art book features stunning panels with great attention to detail. This is no surprise, considering that Hajime Isayama is in charge of creating this project. This video serves as a kind of appetizer to increase the fans' expectations and desire to get hold of this unreleased material, although they will still have to wait a few more months.

Shingeki no Kyojin ended, but it has also left open the possibility of a sequel, as seen in the post-credits scene. Therefore, it may happen that, within some time, the author will be encouraged to develop this world further and show a new plot, but this may not happen soon.

However, although the possibility of a sequel is nothing more than speculation, what has been confirmed is that this new art book will land in stores next April 2024. Until then, fans must wait. A good way to do it is by enjoying the anime and its OVAs again, or you can choose to watch some animes similar to Shingeki no Kyojin.

The impact that this work has had on the world of manga/anime cannot be denied , since, as we have mentioned, it has managed to reach people who do not usually see this type of content. And this speaks very well of the quality of the work.
