Baldur's Gate 3: are you stuck because Halsin is dead?... We have the solution to help you and it's very simple!

Halsin is dead! What to do ?!

By advancing a bit too far in the story around the Emerald Grove and the Goblin Camp, it is possible to make the macabre discovery of Halsin's lifeless body in his cell. Indeed, there is a good chance that the goblins took care of the case of the leader of the druids during your absence.

This loss can put obstacles in the way, on the one hand, because we can never hope to team up with Halsin again, but above all to continue certain parts of the story of Baldur's Gate III.

Although it is impossible to bring him back to life, it is possible to obtain valuable information through cunning. By using the Amulet of Lost Voices or by using the spell that allows you to communicate with the dead, you will be able to question the druid so that he can reveal important information to you for your adventure.

However, as we told you just before, it is purely impossible to follow Halsin's story following his death. Thus, despite the information collected, you will have complications following Art Cullagh 's quest in Act 2 and the rest of the druid's adventure in Act 3.

To prevent Halsin from dying, it is best to go and save him as quickly as possible at Goblin Camp. By advancing a little too far in the story of the Grove, it could well pass the weapon to the left without you being able to do anything about it.

Where to find the spell to communicate with the dead?

The spell that allows you to speak to the dead, Communication with the Dead, is much more useful than you might think because it allows you to obtain very valuable information for the rest of our adventure towards Baldur's Gate.

You can obtain it by equipping the Amulet of Lost Voices found in Wither's chest. The latter hides east of the Emerald Grove, in the Damp Crypt. Otherwise, Communicate with the Dead is a level 3 spell that Will, Shadowheart, or even a Bard can obtain. You just need to level up to learn it.
