Coral Island: Unlock fast travel and what you have to do for the waypoints

The fast travel points make our everyday life on the large map of Coral Island extremely easier. We'll tell you all the conditions to unlock it.

In Coral Island, you can do a lot of different things and you have to constantly get from one end of the island to the other. So that you can travel more quickly, you should definitely unlock fast travel points as early as possible. We'll tell you how to do it.

Unlock fast travel at the Sea Temple - Here's how

You can easily get the first waypoints at the lake temple. That's why you should visit the goddess there as soon as you reach the "Mystical Dream" quest. In our separate guide you will find out where you can find the temple and what offerings you can deliver there, as well as what rewards await you:

At the Sea Temple, you can unlock the following five fast travel points :

• Your Farm: Kill the “Essential Resources” at the first altar. To do this you have to perform the following opera: 10x wood, 10x stone, 10x fiber, 10x sap, 5x oak seeds, 5x maple seeds, 5x pine cones
• Sea Temple: You unlock this at the same time as the essential resources.
• Outlook: Kill any two sacrificial bundles at the first altar (crop altar). You can find the requirements in our linked guide.
• Hill: Kill any two sacrificial bundles on the second altar (catch).
• Hot Spring: Kill any 10 Sacrificial Bundles at the Sea Temple.

Unlock more waypoints

You get the other fast travel points by doing very different activities on the island, such as fishing, mining or catching insects. Here are all the conditions.

• Diving Pier: Activate a sun orb in the sea for Ling. To do this, you must first accept her quest "Into the Sea". Then you will receive the quest “Explore the Sea”.
• Forest Cave: Fight your way to the steps further down in the first mineshaft in the forest cave (earth mine).
• Museum: Complete the "Museum Expansion" quest given to you by Scott.
• Beach: Catch 50 fish, but they don't have to be different species.
• Forest area: Catch 50 insects, but they don't have to be different types.
• Town: Complete the Bronze Vegetable Deliveries from Sam's "Local Produce" quest.
• Giant Village: Free the first two petrified giants from the mine. The quests are called "Petrified Giant I" and "Petrified Giant II"

Waypoints on the dive map

• A bull: You unlock the waypoint during the quests in which you explore and clean the sea.
• Two Islands: You unlock the waypoint during the quests in which you explore and clean the sea.
• Kingdom of the Sea Folk: Complete the quest “Kingdom of the Sea Folk.” To do this, you first have to complete the diving quests for Ling.

Coral Island was in early access on Steam for about a year, the full release took place on November 11th and also brought the farm sim to Xbox Series X/S and PS5. The title is also set to land on the Switch next year.
