What release date and time for the Dead Island 2 Haus DLC?

After nine years of tumultuous development, Dead Island 2 surprised positively when it was released in April 2023. The game distanced itself from the open maps of its predecessors, opting for smaller but intense areas of a zombie-infested Los Angeles. The notable combat improvement makes each weapon's impact unique and visceral. Haus, scheduled for November 2, 2023, at 4 p.m. CEST (French time), arrives just after the Halloween season, but with an undeniable promise of thrills.



Haus is part of the Dead Island 2 expansion pass sold at €29.99. It also includes Red's Demise Katana weapon and the Premium Character Pack, which are already available. After Haus, the SOLA Festival DLC is expected for the second quarter of 2024.


Unlike some titles, the Haus expansion will be available on all platforms that Dead Island 2 launched on, including last and next-gen consoles, and exclusively on PC via the Epic Games Store.


Dead Island 2 is distinguished by a multitude of realistic weapons thanks to its FLESH system. Haus introduces three new weapons: the long-range “K-ROSSBOW”, the flame-spewing “Hog Roaster” and “Dead Islands” for a renewed combat experience. Also, eight new skill cards will be available, offering new combinations and strategies.


The expansion features a plot around a techno-mortal cult led by a billionaire. Players will explore his 1960s modernist villa in Malibu, described as a disturbing maze. Haus could be set after or during Dead Island 2's main campaign, with the game's open ending leaving room for various possibilities.
