EA FC 24: A STRONG PLAYER IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A FEW HOURS AND HE DOESN'T COST ANYTHING - GET HIM

In EA FC 24, you only have the opportunity to play a really strong card until 7:00 p.m. today. Don't let your first impression deceive you, because this player is an absolute rarity to this point.

Which player is it about? Jarrod Bowen from Premier League club Westham United has received a special ticket to the Centurion Event. He has been playing for the London club since 2020 and played his hundredth game for the capital club this season.

EA Sports rewarded him with a very good upgrade. But it's not necessarily his stats that make him so strong. We'll show you what sets Centurion Bowen apart and why you should definitely play for it.

Which player is it about

Bowen Centurion: His playstyle combination is really rare

What makes Bowen so special? First of all, the English winger has received a very decent upgrade from 79 to 86. All of his stats were increased by eight or nine points.

That alone speaks for a good wing card, but not a very good one. But above all his new playstyles make him unique. Before his upgrade, his normal gold card only had the Technique playstyle, which is one of the strongest playstyles in EA FC 24 but is not special in itself.

What's special about Centurion Bowen is the added playstyles: Frenzy and Wide Pass. In particular, the new mix of speed and technology can hardly be found in any other player in Ultimate Team. Only 5 other players, including very expensive cards like the Trailblazerz versions of Son or Salah, have this combination.

What does the interaction of the playstyle frenzy and technique bring? Basically, both playing styles are playstyles in the ball control category. They therefore have a direct effect on the player's dribbling. While technology allows you to carry the ball even more effectively in controlled sprints (R1 on the PlayStation and RB on the Xbox), Frenzy gives your players greater speed when sprinting with the ball.

The description of the playstyles suggests that they would not influence each other. However, after several games with Centurion Bowen, we noticed that he executes the OP-R1 dribbling almost in a way that is otherwise only known from Messi or Musiala, i.e. from players who have the technique gold playstyle.

Another positive aspect of this playstyle combination is that you are faster in both controlled sprints and full sprints (R2 on the Playstation or RT on the Xbox) than players without these two playstyles. This fact, coupled with Bowen's already strong dribbling skills, makes him an extremely lively opponent on the wing and difficult to defend against.

Centurion Bowen: This is how you get the rare dribbling artist

What tasks do you have to complete for Bowen? For Bowen, you have to complete five simple tasks. These can even be completed at the same time. You can easily complete three of the five tasks in one game.

These are the tasks for Centurion Bowen:

  • Precision:  Score 6 goals with English players in Squad Battles, on a difficulty level of at least Semi-Pro (or Rivals/Champions).
  • Midfield Assist: Assist 3 goals with midfielders in Squad Battles on minimum difficulty level Semi-Pro (or Rivals/Champions).
  • Premier League:  Record a goal and an assist in 3 separate games with Premier League players in Squad Battles on Semi-Pro (or Rivals/Champions) difficulty.
  • Outside the Penalty Area:  Score 3 goals from outside the penalty area in Squad Battles. Difficulty level min. Semi-Pro-Pro (or Rivals/Champions).
  • 8 wins:  Win 8 matches in Squad Battles on minimum difficulty level Semi-Pro (or Rivals/Champions) with at least 3 English players in the starting eleven.

So build a team with at least 3 English Premier League players, ideally strikers. Then you can use these to score goals and assists. We recommend that you play the games at a maximum professional level so as not to get into unnecessary trouble with the NPCs. Goals outside the penalty area are also easier to score with less difficulty.

It will take the longest to get the eight wins. Since the halftime length of Squad Battles is only four minutes, you should be able to complete the tasks in about 1 1/2 hours. It's not a small investment of time, but we can promise you that it will be worth it.
