How to solve error 93 in Fortnite

Checking server status

It may have nothing to do with your game or your team, the development team is simply making some type of update that may affect the availability of the servers.

Changing your skin

If it has nothing to do with the servers, it's probably due to your game.

You may be using a skin that is currently not working very well with matchmaking, so simply change skins to see if the situation resolves.

Changing multiplayer party settings

Since this is a multiplayer error, it may be due to your party or multiplayer settings.

  • To do this, you could try changing your party type from private to public or the other way around, simply by clicking on the group icon, then going to “settings” and finally selecting the “change group privacy status” option.
  • You could also activate or deactivate cross-play, to do this go to “settings”, then “privacy” and finally select “enable or disable cross-play”.

Invite friends via the Epic Games Friends List

If you use an Epic Games friends list you may be able to avoid this error and join your friends' group.

To do this, run the Epic Games launcher, click the “add friends” option, and then simply enter a friend's username or email address and add them to join the group.

Restarting the game

What everyone usually does and sometimes it is not so necessary, restart the game to see if the error has been resolved.

Restarting the router

It would be the last solution, but it is likely that your operator has made some changes that may have affected your Internet connection.

If after all of the above, the error has not been resolved, it is quite likely that it is something from Epic Games itself, so you will simply have to wait.
