Headliner is the new mechanic in Set 10 of Teamfight Tactics. If you've played Set 4, this may strongly remind you of the Chosen.
Teamfight Tactics Set 10 is here, and in addition to all the new champions, new classes, and new origins, it also brings a new mechanic: Headliner. If you have played Sets 4 and 4.5 of Teamfight Tactics, you will easily recognize this mechanic.
The Headliner is a champion that appears in your store and is already 2 stars. He has a stat bonus and counts as 2 in one of his traits. This is the same mechanic as the Chosen (or Chosen ) from Set 4 but with some small differences. Here is the detail.
How does Headliner, the new mechanic from TFT Set 10, work?
A Headliner is a champion that you already buy 2 stars. Here are the rules regarding it:
- 1 of his traits counts as 2 when you play him in your composition.
- For example, if you have 2 Emos and you add an Amumu Headliner Emo, you go to 4 Emos.
- He gains different bonus effects for each champion.
- These can be stats such as PV or AD bonuses, or sometimes spell-related bonuses.
- This bonus effect is displayed when you hover your cursor over a Headliner in your store.
- You can only have one Headliner at a time.
- If you don't have a Headliner, you will always have one offered in each roll.
- If you have a Headliner, you will still have one offered every 4 rolls.
- The chances of getting a Headliner by rarity are different from those of classic champions.
- For example, you cannot have a 4 gold Headliner at level 6.
