How to attack from a distance in Lies of P

 This is what you need to know about ranged attacks in Lies of P. Although you can't do it unlimitedly, it will save your life on more than one occasion.

Lies of P is not characterized by ranged combat. The weapons that you will obtain focus on melee (although it is true that some reach a little further than others), but it is not common for you to be able to make long-distance attacks. However, there are a series of exceptions that you should know about since they can save your skin on more than one occasion.

Attack with the arms of the legion

There are some Legion Arms, such as Puppet Thread, which allow you to make a ranged attack with different effects, depending on the arm and its upgrade level.

Obviously, you only have a limited number of uses before you have to stop to recharge it in a Stargazer, so use it wisely.

Thrown objects

Don't look down on throwable objects. Thermia, gears, or vials are very powerful weapons with which you can take down not only common enemies but mini-bosses and even bosses if you use these objects properly. Remember that you have to equip them in your inventory to be able to use them in combat.

Of course, this requires a minimum of foresight when using them. Use the Gears, for example, to eliminate enemies who are shooting at you from a rooftop or when you see that an obvious ambush awaits you. You finish them and roads, leave them for elite puppets, clearing areas that are too crowded or even the fearsome bosses that you will encounter along the way. It should be noted that many of these items apply special effects, such as lightning damage or causing the enemy to burst into flames ... with the consequent benefit for you during combats.
