Don't worry, that's what we're here for. In this entry in our complete guide, we show you what to do to save your game in Tears of the Kingdom whenever you want.

How to save the game?

To save your game of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at any time you only have to do the following:

  • Press the + button on your controller to open the saddlebag menu.
  • Now use the R button to scroll through the sections all the way to the right.
  • You have to move to the tab with the gear symbol.
  • When you get to this tab, you will be in the "Menu" options.
  • The first option that appears in this section is "Save".
You already know what you have to do; simply select the "Save" option and on the next screen agree to save your progress. At that moment a manual save of your game will be created so that you do not lose any progress. Plus you can even do it during combat.

Please note that this game also has the auto-save function by default, so from time to time the game will be saved automatically. Therefore, you should not be too afraid of losing big gains.

Likewise, from the menu that we have indicated, you can use the "Load" option to choose between your multiple save files. Of course, there is only one manual save available.
