Overwatch 2: Nintendo leaks the new tank hero, all the info

The next Overwatch tank, which was supposed to be revealed during Blizzcon, has been leaked by Nintendo. Here is the information we have.

Blizzcon is here and we have a lot to discover for the return of the famous Blizzard physics conference, directly in California. This conference has been an opportunity for many years for the studio to make its biggest announcements, and we expect a lot of new stuff in 2023.

Overwatch 2 was to be an important topic of this Blizzcon with in particular the addition of a brand new tank in the game. Speculation on the latter was launched everywhere, until Nintendo leaked the identity of the next hero of the game.

Please note, that this article was written before Blizzcon and therefore contains spoilers/leaks.

For many, we're looking forward to tonight's Blizzcon announcements. However, leaks are always a significant risk, and when we can think that leaks will come most from unknown people or developers sharing a little too much information with those close to them, we must also be wary of other publishers and collaborations with these.

In this specific case, it is Nintendo which, in a promotion on its eshop for the weekend, simply shared an image of the brand new tank in action.

As many might expect, especially with the reveal of the latest Samoa map, Mauga is the character who will be joining Overwatch after years of anticipation and speculation. As we can see in the image above, the latter will fight with no less than two sulphators . It may also have a charge capacity to move faster, but should remain a sort of immobile force capable of destroying anything in its path.
