Predecessor: How to get a key for the closed beta on PS5 and PS4?

Predecessor arrives in closed beta on PS4 and PS5! The opportunity for players to get their hands on this incredible game here's how to get a key!

Predecessor, formerly known as Paragon, is a third-person MOBA. Like League of Legends, 5 of you will be thrown into a map with 3 lanes, a jungle, and turrets to take down. First developed by Epic Games, the game quickly folded two years after its release.

But his story doesn't end there! Robbie Singh, a former content creator of the game, decided to repurchase and revamp Paragon, with the help of his community, to utilize its full potential. Now developed under Unreal Engine 5 and renamed Predecessor, it offers a closed beta for PS4 & PS5 players. Here's how to register.

Predecessor Beta: how to participate on PS4 and PS5?

To participate in the closed beta, it's very simple: go to the official Predecessor website by clicking on the link below:

Sign up for the Predecessor Closed Beta on PlayStation

Once registered, and once the closed beta is open to the public, the keys will be distributed by email. Good news, when we played with the Founder of the game, he informed us that there would be a hell of a lot of keys to distribute! Sign up and wait patiently until December 5, 2023, to get your key to test the Predecessor closed beta.

Registrations have been open since November 13, 2023.  The closed beta will begin for players on December 5 and close on January 5, 2024. Registrations will remain available until January 4. Additionally, Predecessor has crossplay functionality, so you will be able to play with players on Steam and Epic Games. You will also have all the heroes unlocked from the launch of the Beta.

The development story of Predecessor is beautiful and the game is definitely worth your time. With unique and endearing characters, familiar mechanics, and fun gameplay as possible, check out our test to find out what we think.
