One of the puzzles and riddles that you will encounter during the main story of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is the one related to an orb that is found in the republic laboratory area on the Shattered Moon when you have to go in search of Rayvis.

The orb is behind a cracked but unbreakable glass, and you need it to be able to advance in the area... Since you are probably stuck in solving it and have come here looking for help, in this entry of our guide we are going to tell you What is the solution to this puzzle (easier than you might think).

Solution for the Republic Laboratory puzzle

Once you reach the Republic Laboratory room where the path is blocked by a wall of matter, you will have to get an orb located on a pedestal in an adjoining room, which can be seen through a cracked window like this:

The problem is that no matter how much you attract the orb with the Force, the glass will not break. Additionally, to the right of this window, you can interact with a panel with BD-1 to hack it and open a hatch, however, in this room, there is also no way to enter the room with the orb; although there is a sloping slope that partially connects with the room where the orb is...

The solution is actually quite easy. You just have to do the following:

• First, stand in front of the window and the orb and attract it with Force.
• Now point the orb at the sloping slope at the back of your room.
• Throw the orb onto this slope and, quickly, before it falls, pick it up again from the right side of the window.
• At this point you will have to throw the orb again, but this time you have to throw it at the piece of inclined slope that leads directly to the room on the right:

• As soon as you throw the orb up this slope you have to run into the room on the right.
• If you do it in time when you reach the edge of the floor in the next room you can attract the orb towards you again.

Keep in mind that you must do this last movement very quickly because the orb will roll down the slope and end up falling into the void if you don't get to it in time. The margin of error is very small. Although luckily you can retry it as many times as you want if you drop it.

As soon as you manage to recover the orb in the room on the right, you will have it at hand and you can place it in the amplifier to give it energy and thus open the path blocked by matter that prevented you from advancing in the laboratory.
