Set 10 TFT: PBE compounds to try

TFT Set 10 is available on the PBE for two weeks before the official release. Here is a list of compositions to try during this time.

Teamfight Tactics Set 10 is already here on the PBE until the official release on November 21, 2023. With its 62 new champions and thirty new traits, it's easy to get lost, so here's a list of compositions to try during this testing phase. Note that for each composition we also recommend certain Headliners.

Compo Reroll Yasuo with Edgelord on the PBE of Set 10 of TFT

Compo Reroll Yasuo with Edgelord on the PBE of Set 10 of TFT

This composition should be played with Yasuo  Headliner quickly, ideally in Edgelord. The earlier you have him, the more he can start stacking permanent AD. You want to get him to 3 stars, then level up to enter more Edgelords and go play a champion like Viego as a secondary carry.

Compo Reroll Jinx / Vi with Punk / Rapidfire

Compo Reroll Jinx / Vi with Punk / Rapidfire

This composition is played with Jinx  Headliner. She is very good in Rapidfire, but if you have her in Punk you can also play 6 Punks with a Spatula + Training Gloves. Your objective is to pass as many 3-star champions as possible while taking advantage of the stat bonuses of your Punk champions for each roll. Still, remember to look for level 8 to add excellent legendary units at the end of the game.

Compo Reroll Olaf with Pentakill

Compo Reroll Olaf with Pentakill

Olaf gets stronger and stronger when he is low on HP, making him a good carry to reroll if you have him in Headlining. Depending on the version, you can look to play 6 Fighters (Bruiser) or ideally 7 Pentakills. This allows you, once you have rolled for your 3-star Olaf, to go for a champion like Karthus or Viego as a secondary carry.

Compo Reroll Annie with Emo / Spellweaver

Compo Reroll Annie with Emo / Spellweaver

Annie Headliner Spellweaver is very interesting. With 2 Emos and a Blue Buff, she goes to 30 mana max, which allows her to quickly increase the number of fireballs she launches with her spell. If you pass it 3 stars, you can then level up to play 7 Spellweavers. If you don't have a 3-star Lillia, replace her with Neeko or Ekko as your main tank.

Compo Reroll Bard / Miss Fortune with Jazz

Compo Reroll Bard / Miss Fortune with Jazz

Bard is very fun if you quickly have him in Headlining, becoming more and more powerful as the game goes on, especially with items to maximize his mana generation. Since it is played with Jazz, you can roll it to level 7 to find Miss Fortune  3 stars in physical DPS next to the Bard. The rest of the composition is very flexible, but since you are playing Jazz try to have as many active traits as possible in your composition.

Compo Reroll Gnar / Jax with Superfan / Pogo

Compo Reroll Gnar / Jax with Superfan / Pogo

Gnar or Jax as Headliners can be played as a carry, usually together. You can roll to level 6 to get them 3 stars, then level up and play Pogo (Mosher). It's quite easy to get 3 Superfans, who will give a free item to your Headliner, so only equip him with 2 items.

Compo Reroll Lux with EDM / Envoûteur

Compo Reroll Lux with EDM / Envoûteur

3 star lux with EDM can be daunting. Ideally, you want her as Headliner and it is in your best interest to play the 4 EDM champions so that they copy her spell regularly. Twisted Fate can be a relevant secondary carry in the late game.

Compo Reroll Vex / Samira with Emo / Executioner

Compo Reroll Vex / Samira with Emo / Executioner

Vex and Samira are both interesting champions to roll. You can play with one or the other as Headliner, the goal being to get at least 4 Executioners and 2 to 4 Emos. If you only find 3-star Vex or 3-star Samira, Karthus, and Akali are also interesting secondary carries in the late game.

Compo Reroll Urgot with Country / Pogo

Compo Reroll Urgot with Country / Pogo

Urgot 3 stars is very strong, especially in Headlining. Playing it should also make you pretty powerful in the mid-game thanks to 5 Countries. Samira is a possible secondary carry if you have a lot of AD items, but otherwise, champions like Karthus or even Poppy can also be interesting.

Disco Compo with Twisted Fate / Ziggs

Disco Compo with Twisted Fate / Ziggs

Disco is an interesting trait, which grows in power as the fight progresses and which synergizes very well with Twisted Fate. He can make a very good carry in 4 Mesmers (Dazzler), especially if you can reach all 5 Discos with a Headliner. At the end of the game, Ziggs is a good secondary carry, while Sona can also have this role by bringing in 3 Spellweavers instead of 4 Mesmers.

Jazz composition with Jhin

Jazz composition with Jhin

With the XP changes, getting to level 9 has become much easier than before. In fact, the Jazz composition is ideal for playing legendary carries. She is obviously very flexible, but Jhin is undoubtedly one of the best physical DPS in the game. You can play other champions in secondary carry like Ziggs, Sona, Kayn, Yorick ...

Compo Edgelord with Viego / Kayn

Compo Edgelord with Viego / Kayn

The Edgelord comp is excellent, especially with a Viego  Headlining Edgelord to be able to play the 7. It then inflicts enormous damage, and if you manage to go to level 8 or 9, you can count on Kayn as a secondary carry.

8-bit composition with Caitlyn / Lucian

8-bit composition with Caitlyn / Lucian

Caitlyn is an interesting carry if you can quickly start stacking AD with 8-bit early in the game and Corki in holder. You can easily play it with Lucian as a secondary carry at level 8 or 9.

Compo Akali / Karthus with Executioner

Compo Akali / Karthus with Executioner

Akali and Karthus are 2 fairly complementary carries, which can be played as Executioner as long as you have this trait as Headliner on one of them. True Damage Akali is easier to enter your composition while having 2 True Damage, but the K/DA version arguably synergizes more with Karthus thanks to its damage in the backline.

Compo K/DA with Ahri / Akali

Compo K/DA with Ahri / Akali

K/DA is an interesting trait to go for the 7 with a Headliner on Akali or Ahri. These two champions are your carries and remember to only put 2 items on your Headliner if you play the 3 Superfans who will give him a free item.

EDM composition with Zed / Qiyana

EDM composition with Zed / Qiyana

Zed is a very powerful carry, especially with 4 (or 5 with Headliner ) EDM to create lots of shadows that hit for him. You can play for level 8 and then have Qiyana as a secondary carry.

True Damage Compo with Akali / Qiyana

True Damage Compo with Akali / Qiyana

True Damage is a powerful trait if you can distribute items or components to all champions to give them the bling bonus. Your default carries will generally be Akali and Qiyana, who can assault the opponent's frontline quickly before attacking the backline.

Spellcaster Compo (Spellweaver) with Ahri / Sona

Spellcaster Compo (Spellweaver) with Ahri / Sona

The Spellweaver comp is quite simple: the more spells your champions cast, the more power they gain. Ahri is your main carry, with Lulu or Sona as a secondary carry, but don't neglect frontline items on champions like Ekko or Illaoi.

Heartsteel Compo with Ezreal / Kayn

Heartsteel Compo with Ezreal / Kayn

Heartsteel is the economic trait of the set and encourages you to lose your rounds. However, it is different from the previous ones since you can play it later in the game and it will give you more rewards. In fact, if you have an Ezreal  Headliner Heartsteel, it is possible to pivot to this composition for a few rounds. However, it is usually more interesting to play Heartsteel when you have it from the start of the game.
