New week and new predictions for EA FC 24 TOTW 8 Team of the Week. As usual, EA will offer new IF cards following the results of the best professional players from last week. As a reminder, the five major women's leagues are taken into account in the TOTW while the cards are now all 80 or more in overall rating. The developments are also more marked than in FIFA 23, making it possible to give more interest to these cards.

Team Goalkeeper of the Week 8

Marco Silvestri, Udinese, Serie A

With several possible choices (notably Ter Stegen) among the goalkeepers, our prediction seems less certain than in previous weeks. For Team of the Week 8, Marco Silvestri is considered a good choice. The Udinese goalkeeper allowed his club to win its first match of the season, with a 1-0 success against AC Milan. With +19 in overall rating gain between FIFA 21 and EA FC 24, Ronald Araujo is one of the best progressions in the history of the game. The FC Barcelona defender has nevertheless never obtained a TOTW card in 4 seasons. We therefore consider that this absence will be repaired following his decisive goal in stoppage time in the match against Real Sociedad. While his Gold version is already a great option this season, a TOTW would really make him Meta for a while.

Jeremy Doku, Man City, Premier League

Clearly, the Manchester City wingers seem in good shape! While Pep has a fairly large arsenal in this regard, it was once again Doku who stood out. After a superb performance against Metz, Golovin continues his great start to the season with another great performance against Brest. Contributor on the only two goals of the match (1 goal and 1 assist), the Russian player could be rewarded with his second special card of the season after a Trailblazers a few weeks ago. This TOTW has the potential to approach this TB but should not be more sought after than that. On the other hand, it could lay the foundations for a more interesting future POTM.

Which Attackers in TOTW 8?

Artem Dovbyk, Girona, La Liga

What a start to the season for Girona who are leader of La Liga after a third of the matches. The Spanish club continued its series with a 4-2 victory against Osasuna. Trailing, Dovbyk's teammates were able to count on their Ukrainian striker, who equalized before providing a second assist. If his card should not present the slightest interest in terms of Meta, a first boost is always a good thing given the level of form of Dovbyk, the author of 6 goals and 4 assists this season.

Simon Banza, Braga, Liga NOS

How to get TOTW cards on EA FC 24?

TOTW cards are often interesting at high level but also for DCEs as well as for achieving specific objectives in friendly match mode. Therefore, even on players whose overall rating would be quite low, it is necessary to know how to obtain these TOTW cards on EA Sports FC 24.

The first source is obviously the transfer market, where you can find a player's TOTW cards in special versions of their cards. Be careful though because IF cards sell for much more than the basic version. This is explained in particular by their rarity but also by the fact that the base price (in discards) is already quite high.

A second source remains the game's Gold packs, which have these special cards for a week (Wednesday to the following Wednesday at 7 p.m.). Be careful because once this week has passed, it will be impossible to drop them in packs.

Finally, specific TOTW Packs will be present during the season in DCE, although the latter are often unprofitable because they are completely random.

Investments linked to TOTW predictions on EA Sports FC 24

If the cards of the players selected in the Team of the Week are often good sources of investment, it is also possible to earn credits via the TOTW. Indeed, there are several methods for speculating on the market.

So, the simplest and most regular way is to bet on the normal Gold cards of players in the current TOTW . These are not present in the packs during the week, limiting the quantity of cards. If a player is looking to use these cards for DCEs or for their team, prices can rise sharply. So buy the cards in anticipation of this rise, speculating on TOTW's predictions. This technique is called OOP ( Out of Packs ) and also works for special cards in events. The more specific the card (major league, nation and rare position), the greater its potential. Note that these two strategies require anticipating the market but also finding the right timing. Often, the cards to buy rise quickly, so you need to plan in advance who to buy. In addition, this period of increase will not last long, so it is necessary to play for a few days and quickly sell your cards.
