Blizzcon is here and we have a lot to discover for the return of the famous Blizzard physics conference, directly in California. This conference has been an opportunity for many years for the studio to make its biggest announcements, and we expect a lot of new things in 2023.
The Season of Discovery or rather Season of Discovery is one of the big announcements at Blizzcon. We've had a lot of information about this new content close to Classic +, including a release date. Here's what we know about this new version of WoW!
The release date of the Season of Discovery on WoW Classic
The WoW Classic Era servers are a place of experimentation for Blizzard. The studio had already released the Season of Mastery, or the season of mastery, which allowed Classic to be restarted from 0 to still be able to experience leveling up and redoing raids in the order of release.
While Classic + seems to be gaining a lot of popularity for some time, Blizzard announced the release of the Season of Discovery, which comes very close to the concept of Classic +. The Season of Discovery release date is scheduled for November 31, 2023.
This new season will have several important changes to the basic functioning of WoW Classic:
- Max level 25 (which will evolve as the season of discovery progresses)
- New Runes system that changes how classes work
- New endgame and raid content
