Blizzcon 2023 is coming, and with it a whole battery of announcements. World of Warcraft got a new expansion, The War Within.
Blizzcon is here and we have a lot to discover for the return of the famous Blizzard physics conference, directly in California. This conference has been an opportunity for many years for the studio to make its biggest announcements, and we expect a lot of new things in 2023.
The next expansion of World of Warcraft is a very important point in the future of Blizzard, especially when the latter will arrive at the 20th anniversary of the game. We therefore had the chance to discover The War Within, which represents the future of one of the most important games from the studio.
The War Within, the next expansion for World of Warcraft: here is its release date
World of Warcraft's next expansion is called The War Within and is set to focus on a brand new theme. We currently have no official release date. However, Blizzard has reportedly indicated a release in fall 2024, without saying more.
In this expansion, you will enter the depths of Azeroth, and encounter new races, and ancient enemies like the Nerubians.
For now, we don't have any more information on this expansion yet but we do know that it will have two successors: Midnight and the Last Titan.

We will have new areas, new dungeons and raids, and a new game mode: Delves, an activity for 1 to 5 players. A new system with the Warband will allow everything to be shared between alts. A new Hero talent system will also be implemented.
