Bafta Game Awards Winners List: which games have won awards?

 The 19th edition of the British Academy Games Awards has just ended by revealing the list of the best games of 2023! Find out everything.

The year 2023 was marked by exceptional video game releases, offering gamers around the world a multitude of memorable experiences. Among the plethora of titles, only one managed to rise to the top and be crowned 'Game of the Year'. (GOTY): a prestigious distinction that recognizes the excellence and impact of a game in the industry.

But, in the video game industry, there are not only the Game Awards, there is also the British ceremony that rewards many games. Find the list of winners of the British Academy Games Awards below.

Which game was voted GOTY (best game of the year) in 2023? 

In order to constitute a vast list of games, more than 1,000 industry professionals evaluated 257 titles, released in 2023. Around sixty games were selected and are in the running for at least one nomination in 17 categories.

BAFTA members will vote in January 2024 to determine the titles nominated in the "Best Game" and "Best British Game". The juries will be responsible for selecting the games nominated in the 15 other categories. The ceremony will take place on April 11, 2024.
