In the very last chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen, entitled "Ruthless Showdown in Shinjuku: Makyo", the mystery persists around Sukuna's formidable CT (Occult Technique).
The character of Higuruma, confronted with his inexperience in combat, reveals himself and his technique. As Kusakabe deploys a new shadow style with a simple domain, Sukuna notices the dramatic evolution of everyone's core strengthening technique and the results of Yuji Itadori's training.
Kusakabe reveals the nuances of Sukuna's attacks, including "Dissection" (Dismantle) and "Laceration" (Cleave). One simply delivers a slashing blow while the other varies its striking power depending on the strength of the opponent. Sukuna then launches a devastating attack which pierces Choso in the heart leaving him dying on his side.
The chapter also highlights the lack of use of the fire arrow previously seen in Shibuya by Sukuna. Despite this, Sukuna remains too powerful for them, his defense seems insurmountable.
Sukuna then suffers a powerful attack with the deceased Nanami's weapon, with Sukuna fascinated by Yuji and Higuruma's abnormal growth.
The chapter ends with Sukuna fascinated by the sword capable of eliminating any opponent of Higuruma in a single blow. To him, Higuruma is a gem comparable to Gojo Satoru in terms of power potential.
