Pokémon S&V The Indigo Disc: how to evolve Milcery into Alcremie

A quick guide to the evolution of Milcery into Alcremie in the Indigo Disc DLC of Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: here's what you need to know...

Among the many Pokémon returning in the Indigo Disc DLC, Milcery and Alcremie are among the most complicated. Alcremie can take on the most disparate colors depending on a series of different factors and is one of the few Pokémon that have strange methods of evolution.

There are no leveling-ups, evolutionary items, or trading needed for this Pokémon, but there's still a lot to think about.

We'll explain how to evolve your Milcery into an Alcremie and how to get the exact color patterns you want.

HOW TO EVOLVE MILCERY INTO ALCREMIE IN THE INDIGO DISC

First, you need to track down one of the many types of sweets. Some are rarer than others, but here are all the possible types:

  • Bonbonfragola
  • Bonbonbosco
  • Bonboncuore
  • Bonbonstella
  • Bonbonfoglio
  • Bonbonfiore
  • Bonbonfiocco

Unfortunately, there is no shop that sells them and the only hope of finding one is to collect them from the various shiny spots on the ground or randomly take them from the Blueberry Institute's item printer. After giving Milcery a sweet to hold, you need to perform a rotation, which is done by quickly rotating the character with the analog stick. Eventually, he will start spinning on the spot. A simple rotation is enough to evolve the Alcremie into The Indigo Disc, but the direction of the rotation, the time of day, and the duration of the rotation can influence the color of the Alcremie.
