Should you try to destroy the Cloud in The Invincible?

Jasnah's journey ends aboard the Alliance ship Condor. In this guide, we will introduce you to the last, most important segment of the game.

After a long period of solitude on Regis III, Jasnah will meet another survivor, Rohitra, and both heroes will attempt to confront Cloud directly. However, the enemy turns out to be too strong - as a result, the heroes end up on board the Condor, an Alliance ship, where Rohitra expects to find a weapon capable of completely destroying the Cloud. Having reached the bridge of the ship, Jasnah will have to make a choice - either help Rohitra, or convince him to lay down his arms.

Should you try to destroy the Cloud in The Invincible?

Before you can visit the bridge, you will need to explore the hospital wing of the ship for the second elevator key card. In room H1 (shown in the screenshot) you can find a syringe with sleeping pills. Take it with you - depending on your choice, it may come in handy.

Bridge

Upon reaching the bridge, you will meet Rohitra, who remotely controls the combat vehicle and directs it towards the Cloud. Despite the power of the machine, Cloud is too demanding of the enemy. Go to the radio nearby (near the corpse on the chair) and switch the frequency to allow Novik to take part in the confrontation.

In desperation, Rohitra decides to use the last ace in her hole by attempting to destroy the Cloud with nuclear weapons. Jasnah can support him in this or convince him to give up. This is the final part of the campaign, leading directly to the ending.

Attack

If Jasnah supports Rohitra or fails to convince him to refuse, a nuclear weapon will be launched to target the Cloud. Despite the massive explosion, the microbots will survive and respond with an attack of their own, multiplying at a breakneck speed and beginning to cover the entire surface of Regis III.

Peaceful solution

To convince Rohitra to back down, Jasnah must engage in a long discussion about the nature of the Cloud. She must share the knowledge she has gathered about necroevolution, mentioning the life that once existed on the surface of the planet and the fish that adapted to the presence of microbots. She should also note that the Cloud itself is not aggressive, but only reacts to stimuli. The last step is an indication of the futility of fighting microbots, since they can multiply almost endlessly.

If you succeed, Rohitra will retreat and completely abandon the desire for revenge on the enemy, deciding to leave the planet while it is still possible.

Peaceful solution

If Jasnah fails to convince Rohitra, she can still stop him by force. If you picked up a sleeping pill syringe in the hospital wing, you can use it to put Rohitra to sleep before he can launch the nuke. Unfortunately, this will cause him to suffer from amnesia.
