To obtain the Incandescent Essence enchantment in WoW Dragonflight, simply complete the quest "Power of Dreams". A guide to accomplishing it is available on Breakflip. Here are the effects and particularities of the item

  • Name: Incandescent Essence
  • Item Level: 489
  • Bound when picked up
  • Unique
  • Use: Permanently imbue a helmet with the burning dreams of your defeated opponents. The effect changes depending on the specialization. The item is not consumed upon use. The effect of the enchantment depends on the Ilvl of the helmet to which it is applied.


  • Larodar's Burning Reverie: Healing has a chance to apply the Bramble Barrier to the target, absorbing 7189 damage and dealing 867 nature damage to attackers who hit. If the barrier is broken, heals the target for 6294 points over 6 seconds. If it expires without breaking, increase the target's Versatility by 146 for 10 sec.


  • Fumeron's Madness: Taking damage has a chance to inspire Blazing Rage, causing abilities to deal an additional 448 fire damage distributed between nearby opponents for 12 seconds and protects by an amount equal to the damage inflicted.

Melee DPS

  • Igira's Cruel Nightmare: Attacks have a small chance of extracting the victim's torment to materialize a cruel blade depending on the number of nearby opponents. It inflicts 7551 points of shadowflame damage over 6 seconds to isolated opponents or 5988 points of fire damage distributed among all nearby opponents.

Ranged DPS

  • Tindral's Volatile Fantasy: Damaging spells and abilities have a chance to summon a swarm of fiery owl spirits that sting straight at the target, dealing 4913 points of fire damage distributed among all nearby targets.

Patch 10.2, Dreamkeeper, is the last major patch for the World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion.
