All Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Endings: How to Get the Secret Ending

Even though Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy is a fairly linear game, gamers can experience several different endings as they play through it. In this guide, we will tell you how to get the normal and secret endings.

Note: Please note that we cannot avoid some spoilers when describing the endings. Therefore, before reading, we recommend that you play through the game yourself at least once.

How to get the secret ending

In chapter eight, Nikki, aka the Matriarch, invites Peter to go back in time, save his mother, and reunite with her. To do this, you need to make a “Promise” to yourself. After you save Mom, she will hug Peter Quill. The background will begin to turn white, and Peter will feel pain. Surely at this moment, most players began to press the movement keys to free themselves from the hug, kill her, and leave the false memory. But few users decided to do nothing.

To get the secret early ending in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, you need to do exactly this: hold still and wait for events to unfold after "Mom" hugs Peter. If you wait a while, Peter will appear in front of the house, and black slime will begin to thicken in all corners of the screen.

Run into the house and look at your comrades who will stay with you forever. When the slime fills the entire screen, the end credits will begin and the game will ask, "Do you want to accept the Promise?" Select "Accept the Promise" to end the game early and unlock the secret ending. To break this time loop, select Change Your Mind.

How to get the normal ending

In the chapter "Matriarch" you need to escape from the hands of your mother and get out of the memory, and then just follow the plot. Unfortunately, from this point until the end credits, there will be no forks or choices that would radically affect the plot. After destroying the last enemy, you will receive the standard ending.

That's everything you need to know about how to get the secret and normal endings in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
