Where and how to get runes on Enshrouded?
In Enshrouded, you can collect a significant number of resources such as scrap metal or even resin, allowing you to create different crafts. Concerning the runes, they are found everywhere on the game map. You will find a plethora of them while fighting enemies or opening chests for example. Also, dismantling weapons that you don't use remains the best way to get runes.
The rune is the main resource for improving your weapons. Note that the rarer your weapon is, the more upgrade slots it will have (up to 5 upgrades for a legendary weapon).
To improve your weapon, simply go to the second tab at the top to display the upgradeable equipment menu.
