Evolution of Pals in Palworld: how to strengthen your creatures

Leveling up Pals plays a key role in Palworld. But what about their development? Can creatures evolve in the usual sense of this meaning? In the guide, we will tell you everything about the evolution of Pals, as well as additional ways to strengthen creatures in Palworld.

With seven million players in the new open-world game, players are actively looking for ways to improve their creatures. In an environment of intense competition, everyone strives to find effective strategies to take a leading position. One of the key points is leveling up the Pals, which brings significant benefits. In the world of Palworld, inhabited by more than 100 unique creatures, players will have to collect and develop their collection of animals.

In order to figure out how to earn experience points and improve your buddies in the game, we will look at several methods. It is also important to understand whether creature evolution exists and how it affects character development.

Is there an evolution of Pals in Palworld?

In Palworld, unlike the Pokemon games, creatures do not undergo an evolution process. One of the key differences between the two games is that there is no evolutionary aspect to Palworld. However, Pal breeding is of great importance in the game, thanks to which players can create and develop new individuals, despite the lack of traditional evolution. Below we will describe all the available ways to strengthen your Pals at the moment.

How to improve the characteristics of Palov

In addition to standard pumping, you can build and use a Capsule with the essence of Palov. The technology opens only at level 14, and after receiving Ancient Technology points, you will have to defeat several world bosses (round icons on the map).

To build the capsule you will also need resources:

  • Palsium Shard (20);
  • Metal Ingot (20);
  • Detail of an ancient civilization (5).
The process of upgrading Pals in Palworld is reminiscent of the system used in Pokemon GO , where upgrading one creature requires sacrificing others of the same kind. Each Pal can be strengthened up to four times, and after improvement the declared characteristics of the animal increase. To do this, you just need to catch several creatures of the same type:

  • Rank 1 - 4 Pala.
  • Rank 2 - 16 Palov
  • Rank 3 - 32 Pala.
  • Rank 4 - 64 Pala.

How to quickly level up Pals in Palworld

In Palworld, the easiest way to upgrade creatures is to accumulate experience points until they level up. At the same time, the level of creatures cannot be higher than the level of the main character - you will have to level up with them. The system will be familiar to anyone who has played the Pokemon games, as it is based on a similar principle of leveling up.

Level up in battles

One of the most effective methods for quickly leveling up Pals in Palworld is to actively use them in battles. Battles with higher-level opponents will bring much more experience. This also applies to boss battles, which can be especially beneficial for leveling up creatures.

However, it is important to remember that if your Pal loses all health, it will have to be placed in the Pal container for 10 minutes to revive. There is another way: if your container contains a creature with the “Medicine Production” skill, you can place the dead animal directly on the base. A friend with this skill will kindly carry him to bed, where he will restore his health in a few minutes.

Take Pal with you

It also happens that you get a rare Pal from an egg. It will not be possible to fight with him because he will be of a very low level. Simply place it in your “pocket”, which can hold five creatures. Thus, he will receive additional experience. Of course, not as much as an animal participating in battle, but quite enough to quickly upgrade a friend.

Gaining experience at the base

In Palworld, base building is a key element of the game. One of the important advantages of this aspect is the ability to assign a creature to collect resources or craft. This will allow your animals to earn experience and increase their level without even participating in battles. It is worth noting that in this case the level will increase much more slowly.
