For the year 2024, the developers of TFT have announced the return of old sets during the year starting with Set 3.5: Galaxies. What time will it be released?
Since the release of Teamfight Tactics, Riot Games offers seasons like League of Legends, but in the form of sets that allow the introduction of new gameplay mechanics such as portals with set 9 and new champions, classes, and origins. Now on set 10 since November 2023, players are focusing on the current set and the next. But secretly, some people dream of playing a particular set again.
And that’s good because on the occasion of the TFT Vegas Open which was held in Las Vegas from December 8 to 10, 2023, the game developers submitted the 2024 roadmap with some very interesting information including a “Revival Set ". Since then, some details have been given, notably by revealing the return of set 3.5 called Galaxies: Return to the Stars. We tell you more about the set in this article.
What time does the 3.5 Revival set come out on TFT?
The first Revival set will take place on the live servers from patch 14.2 effective January 24, 2024. This set will see the return of the Galaxies set as a temporary game mode. Indeed, this set return will be online until patch 14.3 on February 20, 2024. As you will have understood, the return of set 3.5 will be ephemeral and will be in the form of a game mode, rather than competitive. Regarding the release time, no official information has been revealed.
In this sense, this 3.5 set will be focused on the joy and nostalgia of a return of a set that is already very distant. For example, there will be 50 copies of each champion, which means that everyone will be able to play the characters they want, even if challenged. The goal is to create as little frustration as possible for a game mode that is more happy and nostalgic than competitive.
