Can't wait for WoW Cata Classic to release to play it? We tell you everything you need to know to access the beta.
WoW Cataclysm Classic is now available in closed beta. This is certainly one of the expansions that has most marked the history of World of Warcraft as it has changed the vision of the game and marks the starting point of the WoW that we know today on Retail.
As announced during the 2024 roadmap, WoW Cataclysm Classic will succeed WotlK this year. As usual, test and beta phases will be offered before the launch of the extension. If you are wondering how to participate and access it, we tell you everything in this article.
How to access the WoW Cataclysm Classic beta?
WoW Cataclysm Classic is the return of Deathwing the Destroyer. This iconic expansion which marks a turning point for the game is back in 2024. Just like Burning Crusade Classic and Wrath of the Lich King Classic, this expansion will be an improved version with new changes in terms of quality of life, including a rate of faster content, an improved leveling experience, an expanded collection interface, and much more!
To request your access to the WoW Cataclysm Classic beta, you can go to the World of Warcraft website and click on the button: Register for the beta. You will then be redirected to your Battle.net account login page. All you have to do is log in to finalize your registration.
Unfortunately, places are limited and your registration does not guarantee you access to the WoW Cata Classic beta. If you have been selected for the test, you will be able to find the game installation via the Battle.net client on your computer. Check regularly, as you may not receive an email informing you of the activation of your access to the WoW Cataclysm Classic beta.
As a reminder, access to Cataclysm Classic servers will be included in the World of Warcraft subscription. You can pre-order the game today with plenty of perks and rewards, including a level 80 character boost, Ragnaros-inspired mount, Lil'Wrathion pet, and more!
In any case, keep in mind that if you have access to the WoW Classic beta, you will not keep the data of your characters with whom you played on it. Here are the major new features of this extension:
- New races: Goblin and Worgen
- New Dungeons and Raids
- Max level: 85
- Transmog
As for the improvements made in this Classic version, here is what we can note:
- New dungeon difficulty system
