Defeat dungeon bosses
The first method to obtain pieces of an ancient civilization is to eliminate the bosses that lurk in Palworld 's many dungeons .
You won't be able to miss them: they are all in an arena with a large tree installed in the center. The Pal who will provide you with pieces of an ancient civilization is the one who is in alpha form, therefore the largest of all.
Whether you eliminate it or capture it, you will always receive a small amount of Coins of an Ancient Civilization!
- The first time you defeat one of these bosses, you will also receive Ancient Technology Points to advance in your Ancient Technology tree.
Defeat bosses in open world
In the same vein as dungeon bosses, eliminating or capturing a boss in the open world allows you to obtain pieces of an ancient civilization ! Also, do not hesitate to meet them, then return to their arenas (once the timer is up) to collect other Coins of an ancient civilization.
- Like dungeon bosses, the first elimination of an open world boss (on your part) always rewards you with Ancient Technology Points for your Ancient Technology tree!
Defeat Tower opponents
We think you will have understood, but the mechanics are exactly the same for the Tower bosses. Each time you eliminate the adventurer and his Pal from a Tower, you will receive a certain amount of Coins of an ancient civilization . The first elimination of an adventurer also brings Ancient Technology Points, so don't hesitate to rub shoulders with them to advance in your Ancient Technology tree!
Open chests
Some chests in Palpagos allow you to obtain Coins of an ancient civilization. However, they do not always provide them. Don't hesitate to try your luck by stopping for a few moments on one of these chests in nature or in the dungeons.
Capturing Lucky Pals
Finally, the last way to get your hands on Coins from an ancient civilization is to eliminate or capture a lucky Pal , otherwise called shiny .
Also, be vigilant and pay attention to noises when you are exploring, because you will easily be able to locate them thanks to the ringing sounds made by their sparkles. Viewing Lucky Pals at night is much simpler: they are larger than the others and the brilliant aura that emanates from them can be observed from very far away, especially in a flying mount!
