Disney Dreamlight Valley, Human Ariel: how to complete Eric's Life Begins for You and Me quest? Our guide

 The vast majority of characters in Disney Dreamlight Valley move on land, which is not necessarily the case for sea creatures like Ariel and Ursula. However, unlike the sea witch, it is possible to give human form to the Little Mermaid through a quest. We explain how to do it:

Ariel's human form in Disney Dreamlight Valley

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can unlock many characters from Disney and Pixar films, whether recent or not. Among them, we find princesses who left their mark on the youngest, like Elsa and Anna from Frozen, but also icons from the greatest classics, like Ariel from The Little Mermaid. Like the other characters in the 1989 feature film, Ariel must be unlocked through a quest, for which you can find the complete guide at this address. From then on, the mermaid will appear exclusively in water, which can sometimes make it difficult to talk to her. Fortunately, there is a way to return her to human form, making it easier for you to find her in the valley. To do this, you must first unlock Prince Eric by completing Ursula's ultimate quest, and progress with him until his level 3 friendship quest is triggered. That's when Eric asks you to help him find how to allow his beloved to live both on land and in the sea. Without further ado, find out how to unlock the quest "Life begins for you and me" and give human form to Ariel in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

Life begins for you and me

To obtain this quest, you must have reached level 3 friendship with Eric and unlocked Maui and Rémy. Eric asks you to help him find a way to allow Ariel to live on land without giving up the sea. Start by talking to Maui to learn about Transfiguration.

This advises you to enchant an object, so you will have to gather the necessary ingredients to make an enchantment:

• 5 white impatiens: you will find impatiens in the Forgotten Lands. For more information, be sure to check out our guide to Disney Dreamlight Valley flowers.
• 5 Purified Night Shards: To craft these shards, you will need Night Shards and Dream Shards, which you can find by digging at the Shining Holes. 
• 1 empty vial: to make an empty vial, you will need 3 units of glass, which you can make with sand and coal ore. You'll find sand by digging on the Enchanted Beach or by destroying marine debris, and you can extract coal from rocky outcrops throughout the valley.

Once all these elements are gathered, you will be able to craft the metamorphosis enchantment and talk to Eric about the rest. He suggests that you use a nautilus shell to make a pendant, and sends you to Rémy to concoct a nautilus bait using the fish viscera oil that he gives you.

Give the oil to Rémy, and he will send you to get the rest of the ingredients for the bait:

• 4 cloves of garlic: you will find garlic in the Forest of Courage.
• 4 Onions: You can buy whole onions or onion seeds from Goofy's stand in the Forest of Courage.
• 1 cavalos: you can fish for cavalos at the blue circles of the Forgotten Lands.
• 1 crab: you can fish for crab at the blue circles in Frozen Heights.

Bring all this to Rémy, and he will give you the nautilus bait.

Apply it to your fishing rod from your inventory, and you can fish for a nautilus at the place where the river meets the sea, at the bridge that separates the two sides of the Enchanted Beach.

Once this is done, bring the enchantment and the nautilus to Eric so that he can make the pendant.

All you have to do is bring it to Ariel so that she transforms and talks to Eric to finish the quest.
