Kristoff's Stand in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, your main task is to restore the valley following the devastating effects of the Oblivion. To do this, you can remove night thorns, open biomes, bring back lost characters or those who have taken refuge in their respective Kingdoms, and even take the time to decorate the different areas. In addition to this, you can also participate in Village Projects aimed at helping villagers resume an activity that is beneficial for the valley, but especially for you, since they allow you to get your hands on sometimes rare resources at a lower cost... Among them are WALL-E's garden, Moana's fishing boat, Eric's blueprint stand, and the subject of this article, Kristoff's materials stand.
Once unlocked, you can place Kristoff's stand anywhere in the valley. Kristoff offers 6 different types of craft materials there every day. Thanks to it, you can save time by purchasing resources rather than traveling around the valley to collect them. Once you have improved his stand, you can even buy refined materials from him.

How to unlock Kristoff's Stand
Kristoff's Stand is unlockable through his level 6 friendship quest called Village Project: Mountain Man Stand. As soon as you have reached this level with Kristoff, he will tell you of his desire to build a materials stand and will ask you to talk to Goofy for advice. The latter will give you parts from his first stand that you will have to repair.
To do this, you will need the following:
- 50 softwoods: you will find them around the trees almost everywhere in the valley.
- 50 stone: you can extract it from rock outcrops throughout the valley.
- 35 Hardwood: You will find hardwood around trees in Forest of Courage, Bayou of Confidence, Frozen Heights, Sunny Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
- 10 Iron Ingots: Iron ingots must be made from iron ore and coal ore. You'll find coal on most of the valley's rocky outcrops, but iron ore can only be found in Confidence Bayou, Frozen Heights, Sunny Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
Once you have the materials in your pocket, return to Kristoff to show them to him, and you can craft the stand at a crafting station. All you have to do is place the stand where you want it using the decoration mode in your inventory and talk to Kristoff one last time to complete the quest.
How to upgrade Kristoff's Stand
Once the stand is built, Kristoff will be able to sell crafting materials every day. However, it is possible to improve Kristoff's stand through the quest A Broken Sled. To obtain this quest, you must have reached level 10 with Kristoff and unlocked Trust Bayou and Frozen Heights. Kristoff's sled has sunk into the ice, so he asks you to help him get it out. Follow it to the Frozen Heights and clear the ice around the sled with your pickaxe, then collect the sled.
Show it to Kristoff, who asks you to help him repair it. Start by looking for the repair book in Kristoff's house deep in the Forest of Courage.
With the book in your pocket, you can go in search of the following materials :
- 50 fibers: To make fibers, you will need algae. Our guide to algae will make it easier for you to find it.
- 30 Hardwood: You will find hardwood around trees in Forest of Courage , Bayou of Trust , Frozen Heights , Sunny Plateau , and Forgotten Lands .
- 10 Iron Ingots: Iron ingots must be made from iron ore and coal ore. You'll find coal on most of the valley's rocky outcrops, but iron ore can only be found in Confidence Bayou, Frozen Heights, Sunny Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
- 9 Crafting Parts: You can make 3 crafting parts from 2 iron ingots, which you can in turn craft from iron ore.
All these items combined, you can now repair Kristoff's sleigh at a crafting station and bring it to him.
Then, Kristoff tells you that he would like to start selling refined materials at his stand and asks you to bring him samples :
- 1 fiber: You can make fiber from algae.
- 1 Brick: You can make bricks from clay, which you can farm using our guide.
- 1 Glass: You can make glass from sand, which you can harvest by digging on the Enchanted Beach or by following our guide to removing marine debris.
- 1 iron ingot: iron ingots must be made from iron ore and coal ore. You'll find coal on most of the valley's rocky outcrops, but iron ore can only be found in Confidence Bayou, Frozen Heights, Sunny Plateau, and Forgotten Lands.
Bring these samples to Kristoff, and he can start selling them at his booth. He even gives you his old sled as a thank you!
