Moana's boat in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, your main task is to restore the valley following the devastating effects of the Oblivion. To do this, you can remove night thorns, open biomes, bring back lost characters or those who have taken refuge in their respective Kingdoms, and even take the time to decorate the different areas. In addition to this, you can also participate in Village Projects aimed at helping villagers resume an activity that is beneficial for the valley, but especially for you, since they allow you to get your hands on sometimes rare resources at a lower cost... Among them are WALL-E's garden, Kristoff's materials stand, Eric's plans stand, and the subject of this article, Moana's boat.
Moana's boat is located on Enchanted Beach, not far from the teleportation well. Moana can bring in up to 20 random fish that you can collect every hour. Thanks to it, you can receive rare fish that you can use to make some of the 165 recipes in Disney Dreamlight Valley or resell them to make some pocket money. How to unlock Moana's boat
Moana's boat is unlockable through her level 3 friendship quest called Repairing the Boat. As soon as you have reached this level with the future chief of Motunui, she will tell you of her desire to restore the village's fishing boat:
To repair this boat, you will need the following items:
- 50 softwood: you will find softwood around trees almost everywhere in the valley.
- 70 fibers: To make fibers, you will need algae. Our guide to algae will make it easier for you to find it.
- 3 pink hydrangeas: you will find hydrangeas on the Enchanted Beach. For more information, consider checking out our guide to Disney Dreamlight Valley flowers.
With these items in your pocket, you will have to use them to craft the items below at a crafting station :
- 3 Rustic Wooden Boxes: You will need 30 softwoods to create these 3 boxes.
- 3 baskets: you will need to use 18 fibers and 3 pink hydrangeas to make the 3 baskets.
- 4 ropes: you will need 32 fibers to make the 4 ropes requested.
The crafted items, give them to Moana and she will take care of repairing the boat.
Once done, you will see a shiny object on the ground near the boat. Collect it, and bring it to Moana to complete the quest.
How to upgrade Moana's boat
Once the boat is repaired, Moana will be able to go fishing and bring you fish every hour. However, it is possible to improve the fishing boat by going through the Scrooge sign. You can upgrade the boat up to 9 times to get 18 extra fish per hour. Each improvement costs star coins, the number of which increases each time.
