Faith, trust and pixel dust

To unlock this quest, simply find Vanellope in the Castle of Dreams as part of Scrooge's friendship quest titled The Haunting of Dreamlight Valley. It needs you to correct an anomaly that prevents it from being an integral part of the valley. To help it, you need to familiarize yourself with the Dreamsnaps feature in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which you can find in the Event tab of the menu.

The challenge proposed by Vanellope asks you to decorate an area of your valley with the following elements:

Mandatory elements:

  • 5 Pet: any object appearing in the Pet filter.
Suggested items:

  • Modern: Any object appearing in the Modern filter.

You will find the filters in the Decoration menu. The easiest way is to display all your objects and then choose the filters. You can of course combine filters to use fewer objects. Once your area is decorated, take a photo and check that it contains the necessary number of objects by displaying the Dreamsnaps Menu using the button indicated at the bottom left of the screen.

Your photo submitted you will earn 50-pixel dust, and you will unlock the weekly Dreamsnaps challenges. They are reset every Wednesday at 3 p.m. (local time) and allow you to earn Moonstones by participating and voting for the entries of others, at a minimum of 350 Moonstones when you participate and vote each week. Please note, however, that it is possible to earn up to 12,000 moonstones by winning first place on the leaderboard.

Once the introduction to Dreamsnaps is complete, Vanellope will ask you to place her house in the valley. You will need 4000 Star Coins to build it.
