Where is the Sphinx in Dragon's Dogma 2 and how to overcome all its challenges

First and most importantly, we must find the sphinx, and it is found in two locations offering us up to 10 riddles that we must overcome without failing in any of them.

Save the game after each puzzle so you don't have to start over from the beginning if you want to get the final reward.

Sphinx location 1

Sphinx location 1

The first location of the sphinx will offer five riddles. It's in the Mountain Shrine. You basically have to follow the road north until you reach the old battlefield.

On this battlefield, you will meet an NPC named Oskar who will offer you a mission.

Basically, you have to help good old Oskar enter the ruins that are on the hill.

You must continue to the top of the ruins, until you see a lone cyclops, and climb the ledges along the cliff area until you come across a cavern with a tunnel system full of ghosts.

As you leave this cavern, look to the right to see different ledges along the cliff, which will definitely take you toward the Mountain Sanctuary and the sphinx's lair. Place a transporter crystal in this area.

First meeting with the sphinx and all its riddles

Talk to the sphinx, but don't attack it, because you will lose all the puzzles.

Riddle of the eyes

The sphinx will open the broken door for you, and inside there are many tunnels full of enemies. If you look above the entrance, you will see a chest that has a sealing jar, and this is exactly what you need to give to the sphinx. There are other chests in this area, but they are the wrong items.

Riddle of madness

You must bring the person with whom you have the highest affinity value, so carry that person in your arms, then use a transport stone to teleport back to the Mountain Shrine, and place this person on the pedestal and tell the sphinx who is your dearest person.

Wisdom Riddle

You must bring a pawn made by Capcom that has the word “Sphinx” as a nickname.

For example, some working pawns might be SphinxParent, SphinxMother, and SphinxFather.

Then warp back to the Mountain Shrine and carry the pawn on your shoulders so you can carry him to the stand.

Riddle of conviction

You must hand over any item because it will be duplicated, so we recommend a valuable item, such as a transport crystal.

Rumination Riddle

You must remember where you found the first seeker token, and return to that area, and the sphinx only gives you seven days of play to solve this puzzle.

Location of the sphinx 2

Location of the sphinx 2

After finishing the sphinx's previous riddles, it will fly and go to another area.

Specifically, this time you will go to the Border Sanctuary, west of the previous checkpoint.

You can get there by following the dry creek under the bridge, then climbing the cliffs and following the winding canyon to the Sanctuary.

Don't forget to place another transporter crystal in the Border Shrine, since you will return here frequently. It is essential that you then switch to an archer to try to solve the last puzzle. You must be very fast.

Meeting Riddle

When you reach the Border Shrine, the sphinx will be very tired, and simply by finding it you will solve this puzzle.

Differentiation Riddle

The sphinx will show an image of a red-haired man, dressed in a white robe, and you should open the NPC log history to see the differences.

You must take note of the individual's appearance and then go to his location, and this NPC will teleport him back to the Sanctuary.

Quiz Riddle

You will have to stagger an opponent and throw him off a cliff.

Riddle of futility

You must carry a vase to the marked location, but you cannot allow yourself to be attacked when you have the vase or it will break instantly.

You should place it on the ground whenever you see enemies around.

If it breaks, the sphinx will fly away and you will have lost the rest of the puzzles.

memory riddle

You must place the correct number of statues near the dais, depending on the number of puzzles you have solved correctly before.

Confrontation with the sphinx

When you solve the last puzzle, the sphinx will try to fly away, and you must hit it with a melee weapon to start combat.

At this point, you should already have the archer class, and instead, you should attack it and select the “go” command so that the melee class pawns also hit it.

You can also alternatively use the Warrior vocation, but you must ensure that one class option is melee-oriented and the other is archer.

When the combat has begun, you must quickly equip the destroying arrow that you obtained in a previous puzzle, and with this, you will kill the sphinx.

You will be rewarded with the Key of Sagacity, which can be used to unlock the large treasure chest in the shrine.

If you don't defeat the sphinx quickly, and here is the importance of the archer for the destroying arrow theme, he will leave and you will lose the last treasure chest.

With this, you already know how to solve absolutely all of the sphinx's riddles so that you don't miss out on any of the rewards.
