In fact, one of the conversations among Dragon's Dogma 2 players is the topic of the locked door to the ancestral chamber, which can only be unlocked from the other side, and there is apparently no way around it.

However, it includes a series of vocational requirements and overcoming certain previous missions to open it and thus receive rewards.

So we tell you how to open the door to the ancestral chamber in Dragon's Dogma 2 to get a few unexpected surprises.

How to open the door to the Ancestral Chamber in Dragon's Dogma 2

The Ancestral Chamber is located near Vermund and also Melve. There are two main entrances to this area.

You'll find one north of Melve that is too high to reach and requires knocking down the ladder, and then the easier entrance that you have to reach by walking a long way.

The second entrance can be found by traveling northwest from Vernworth until you reach the Malachite Forest near the elven settlement.

There would then be a third entrance which you can access when you have made your first visit to this ancestral chamber and can be found by taking the stone ramp as you leave the settlement and then jumping over the ledge.

This entry point can be accessed by using abilities such as the mage's levitate or you could use a smoke beacon and ride a harpy to the entry point.

How to unlock the door to the Ancestral Chamber

In order to access the locked door of the ancestral chamber, you must complete the quest called “the gift of the bow” in Vernworth. After that you have to complete the mission called “archery test” that follows afterwards.

During this last mission, you will enter the ancestral chamber to rescue a character, and to the right of the circular platform, where the fearsome ogre is that you will have to take down, there is a hidden passage where the closed door is located.

When you have completed the mission you will be able to pass the closed door, but rest beforehand in the nearby camp.

Once you rest in the nearby camp, and night falls, head towards the ancestral chamber and a large set of new creatures should have appeared.

After overcoming all these enemies you will reach the door, but a large skeleton and some of his henchmen will be waiting for you that you will have to defeat and with this, you will be able to open the happy door.

This method might not work at first, so if you enter the ancestral chamber at night and discover that there are no new enemies, you will have to camp again and return.

If it doesn't work, load a previous game.

That is, in order to open the closed door, all these rare enemies must appear, if they do not appear, you will have to try again.

Ancestral Chamber Door Rewards

As soon as you go beyond the closed door of the ancestral chamber you won't find much, in fact, it is the skeleton boss himself who carries the most valuable items.

In any case, there is a chest with an item that allows you to increase both physical defense and magical defense for a limited period of time.

Although there are no very valuable rewards behind this closed door of the ancestral chamber, at least you will have satisfied your curiosity.
