No Man's Sky: Agricultural Terminal, how to get it and formulas

We explain how to get the Agricultural Terminal for your base in No Man's Sky. Hire the farmer worker and unlock new formulas and special blueprints.

To expand our base and improve it in No Man's Sky, one of the fundamental things we must have is an Agricultural Terminal and the hired farmer worker. Below we show you how to get this terminal and what plans you will unlock thanks to it.

How to get the Agricultural Terminal

The Agricultural Terminal is used to obtain research and plans related to agriculture and hydroponic growing. In order to create it, you first need to obtain its blueprint, which is obtained by following the missions given to you by the supervisor in the Construction Terminal, after having advanced enough in the missions of the Scientific Terminal and the Weapons Terminal.

Once you obtain the blueprint, you can proceed to build the terminal anywhere in your base or even inside a freighter (inside the base rooms you need at least two stories high).

• Crafting the Agricultural Terminal requires: Chromatic Metal x40 + Condensed Carbon x25.

Hire the farmer for the base

The farmer (or farmer) is the worker NPC that can operate in the Agricultural Terminal. Once you have built it for the first time, you can search for this character who is found randomly in the space stations of Gek systems (although it has also been reported to find him randomly in other systems).

The farmer is always a Gek race NPC. You should be able to find him at the stations after several attempts, we recommend talking to all the Gek characters until you find him. When you see him, ask him to move to your base to hire his services.

Formulas and plans of the Agricultural Terminal

Following the Agricultural Terminal and hiring the farmer, you can begin a chain of missions that will lead you to unlock new formulas and plans related to this terminal.

These are all the formulas that you will get as a reward if you complete the farmer's missions:

• Hydroponic Tray: A platform used indoors for growing plants.
• Large hydroponic tray: allows growing up to four plants at the same time.
• Gut rot flower: plant from which the Faecesium material can be obtained.
• Helianthemum: plant from which the Frost Crystal material can be obtained.
• Solar vine: plant from which the material Solanium can be obtained.
• Fungal group: plant from which the fungal mold material can be obtained.
• Gamma Grass: plant from which the Gamma Root material can be obtained.
• Gravitino host: plant from which the matter Gravitino balls can be obtained.
• Poisonous sea urchin: plant from which powerful poison sacs can be obtained.
• Albuminous Pearl Orb: plant from which the Albuminous Pearls material can be obtained.
• Echinocactus: plant from which the cactus meat material can be obtained.
• Star Bush: plant from which you can obtain the Star Bulb matter.
• Mordita root: plant from which Mordita material can be obtained.
• NipNip: plant from which the Gekitos material can be obtained.
