If you're surviving (or trying to) survive in the wilds of Sons of the Forest, oddly enough, a shovel will be essential to keep you safe. In the new survival, you can use a shovel to make building and crafting easier in your world, and the developers hope that, eventually, you can use it to uncover buried secrets and hide your traps.
It's not an easy item to find though, and you'll need to get your hands on a few other items first, so we'll tell you where to find a shovel in Sons of the Forest in this quick guide.
HOW TO GET THE SHOVEL IN SONS OF THE FOREST
To get the shovel, you'll need to go to the cave entrance on the map below. The entrance is submerged in a small pool of water and there are three dead bodies surrounding the entrance. It's hard to miss. However, you should first go above the cave southwest of where you can find the harpoon. After that, head to the cave directly north of the cave in the circle, on the coast, since you'll find the respirator there.
You will need both items to get through the cave, but your reward will be a valuable shovel that you will find just next to another corpse.
