Hogwarts Legacy Guide - How to Find Manuals in the Library Annex

Location of each page of the manual in the Hogwarts Castle Library Annex

After spending about an hour in Hogwarts Legacy, you will soon realize how huge Hogwarts castle turned out to be and how many secrets it contains. Hogwarts is divided into several main areas, each with a certain number of manual pages. To collect them, you will have to use various spells. These pages are very easy to overlook because their location is not always obvious. In this guide, we will show you how to find all the manual pages in the Library Annex Wing.

Hogwarts Legacy Guide - How to Find Manuals in the Library Annex

Manual pages for Revelio

One of the most common spells you'll use to locate manual pages is Revelio. When you press the R key, the spell will show all hidden pages located near you, locked doors, puzzle pieces, and chests. If there is a manual page nearby, you will see a small piece of paper with a quill floating in the air. All the pages you collect with Revelio can be tracked in the collection menu.

  • Portrait of Sir Cadogan. From the flying flames of the Central Hall, climb the stairs to the place where the banners hang from the ceiling. There is a manual page on the balcony walkway above you, right in front of the painting leading up to the front staircase.
  • Divination class. From the flying flames in divination class, climb up the spiral staircase until you reach the top. A rope ladder will descend. Climb up it to get to the divination class. The manual page is located next to the palm on the table.
  • Numerology class. Return to the Flying Flame at Divination Class. Go to the room with the rafters. Move along the plank floor until you are about halfway up. On the right side, there will be an additional passage that leads to a puzzle door. Before you continue, you need to solve a puzzle. After passing through this door, you will be able to climb a short staircase and enter the auditorium. The manual page is next to the tables at the entrance.
  • Statue of Gregory Umnik. Move to the flying flame "Potion Classroom" and head towards the main part of the Central Hall. The manual page is located in front of the statue on the right after entering.

  • Fountain of the central hall. Once you're in the central hall, head towards the statue of unicorns and mermaids in the center of the room. In front of it is the manual page.
  • Library. The library is located in the central hall of the extension to the library. Once in the library, go up to the second floor. In the western part, look for a page located in front of a large painting of a man holding a book.
  • Professor Sharp. From the "Potion Classroom" flying flame, head east through the double doors, and then immediately go through the single door on the other side of the hallway. Head to the east side of the classroom to find a page next to the round table.
  • Tree in a greenhouse. This is the only guide page in the greenhouse area. Go to the entrance to the greenhouses and use the Revelio in front of the big tree with pink leaves to find the page.

    Manual pages for Accio

The second most common form of manual pages you'll find at Hogwarts require the Accio spell. These pages fly through different rooms and outdoor areas. Fortunately, there are not many of them in the library extension. Because these pages don't have unique titles, I link to them with their locations.

    • Central hall. Here you can find three pages at once. The first is located at the exit to the Transfiguration Yard. When you are in front of the door leading outside, you will see a page flying next to it. Use Accio to pull her towards you. The next page is located near the same place. Turn around so that the door to the Transfiguration Yard is behind you. Look up and see this page. The last page in the central hall is located near the doorway leading to the great hall. She flies next to the banners, on a very long trajectory, so if you don't spot her right away, wait a bit and she will fly to this place. You can also use Revelio to see the page which will be highlighted in blue.
    • Library. Go to the flying flame in the library. Once inside this section, go up to the second floor to see the page. If you haven't completed the Side Quest "Books Swept Off the Shelves" you'll probably see four similar pages flying around the library. They are related to this quest. Collect everything. One of them is about leadership.

    Manual pages for Lumos

The third type of manual pages can be obtained using the Lumos spell. Traveling through the castle, you will find strange mirrors with moths on the frame. When you apply Lumos near them, you will see a specific place nearby. In this place, there will be a lone moth that needs to be attached to the mirror. Use Lumos next to the moth to make it follow you and then return to the mirror. Once in place, click LMB to disable Lumos. The moth will be on the frame and you will see the manual page.

    • Mirror in the library. Go to the library using the flying flame. In the southern part of the second floor, look for a mirror hidden in a small corner. After using Lumos to find out where the moth is, move to the western part of the second floor. The moth is near the railing. Use Lumos to attract the moth and return to the mirror.
    • Mirror in the central hall. Proceed to the flying flame "Potion Classroom" and return to the central hall. When you leave the corridor, you will find a moth on the wall next to the statue of a fat man. Grab it with Lumos and head up the stairs to the main area where the fountain is. The mirror is on the wall to the right. By the way, an additional task "Like a moth to a flame" is associated with this mirror.

    Manual page for Levios

The last type of spell that you will use to get the pages of the sheer manual in the library annex is Leviosa. Traveling around Hogwarts, you will stumble upon statues with spheres. Use Levios next to them to get an untitled manual page. Before you get the only such page in the Library Annex, you must learn the Alohomora spell, which happens in the story of the game. After that, you need to get to the statue behind the locked door next to the greenhouse door in the central hall. After going through the door, use Levios on the statue to get a manual page.
