The Wizarding World has a unique style, and finally, you can become an icon of it in Hogwarts Legacy. You will constantly change your equipment throughout the game as you level up and slowly improve your stats.
However, this does not mean that you will have to constantly change your appearance based on the items of clothing you come across completely randomly. Once you've chosen a type of equipment, you can use its appearance wherever you want, regardless of what you're actually wearing.
This means that you can always have the look you prefer. If you want to look good and look gloomy as well, though, you can also put on a hood over any coat that has one. The game will never tell you how you can do it, while we, in this guide, do.
HOW TO CHANGE THE APPEARANCE OF EQUIPMENT
In the equipment menu, hover over any clothing item you'd like to customize, then press Square on PS5 or X on Xbox. This will activate a new menu that will show you all the cosmetic options available to you.
In the top section, you'll see all the ones you've unlocked through collections like House Fanatic Robe, which you can get by linking your Wizarding World account. Below you will see how all the pieces of equipment you have found in random loot will look like.
You can select whatever look you like in Hogwarts Legacy and your equipment will adopt its look while retaining the stats of what's underneath.
HOW TO WEAR THE HOOD IN HOGWARTS LEGACY
If you want to look like an Assassin, you'll have the option to put your hood up on any coat that has one.
To do this, hover over the coat in the equipment menu and press Triangle on PS5 or Y on Xbox to raise and lower the hood. You can also do this with a headdress on but it won't be clearly visible with the hood up.
