Hogwarts Legacy is a surprisingly large RPG, with a world in which you will spend dozens of hours exploring far and wide – and while doing so, chances are you will miss something. Exploring the vast areas around Hogwarts can be exhausting, even if you have access to a broom or a mount. Thankfully, the Wizarding World has a solution for this problem: Floo Flames.
Floo is an important resource at Hogwarts and the Wizarding World more broadly. The world is filled with Floo Flames, and for open-world veterans, these serve as fast travel points. For everything you need to know about Floo Flames, keep reading our instructions below.

HOW FAST TRAVEL WORKS HOGWARTS LEGACY
First of all, the good news: you don't have to collect floo powder. Floo powder is practically an unlimited resource for you young wizards, the only problem is that you will have to unlock Floo Flames in order to use them.
Floo Flames are activated simply by getting close. As you explore the game world, you'll see gray-colored Floo icons scattered across the map. Usually just approaching these icons in the game world activates them, which allows you to use this floo in the future.
To fast travel in Hogwarts Legacy, all you have to do is hover over an already activated Floo Flame in your world map and press Square/X for PlayStation and Xbox respectively.
Ignatia Wildsmith is the inventor of floo powder and actually has a stone face that will talk to you at all points for fast travel – not surprisingly you'll hear her talking to you over and over whenever you pass her.
